Seven-year-old Bana Al-Abed has been trapped indoors for weeks due to the frequent airstrikes in Aleppo.

Her mother created a twitter account to tell 28,000+ followers about the horrors of Aleppo. Her mom said Bana kept begging her to share their story with the world. Her tweets have included captions and videos saying “I am very afraid I will die tonight. This bombs will kill me now.”

Bana’s mother has informed the world that food is getting scarce and the children are getting curious. “The children lost their sense of childhood,” she said. “They forgot what it means to play and go around and visit parks. It is now like a dream for them to go out for the day."

Their motive in creating the account was to show the world they are not terrorists, they are just kids, mothers, fathers, and babies.
